Brief History of Sujok
"Su-Jok" is a combination of two words. In Korean 'Su' means hands and 'Jok' means feet. Thus, SuJok actually means treating on hands and feet.

Acupuncture has a clearly recorded history of about 2,000 years, but some authorities claim that it has been practiced in China for some 4,000 years.
In 1986, South Korean scientist Prof. Park, Jae Woo, who after many years of careful observation and clinical experience developed a new system of therapy using only the hands and feet to effect the same results as body acupuncture. Prof. Park Jae Woo of Seoul, a well- known researcher and scientist, developed a unique method of treatment, which he named Su Jok Therapy.
